Excellent 1090 dumbbells!! I use the Bowflex Xtreme and the 1090’s. This almost 40 year-old is in better shape than most of his younger paramedic co-workers. These 2 pieces of equipment are all you need. They work. Buy and see the results yourself. You will be pleased with yourself in a short time period.

I purchased a set of the Select-tech 552's and the 3.1 Bench, and they rock! The dumbells take up very little space, switch weights fast, and feel solid / durable. The 3.1 bench is extremely comfortable, incline/decline change is fast and the bench feels well made.

The simplicity in twisting and clicking the weights is superior. The weight plates lock in place for a safe workout when removed from dumbell platform, so no worries of a weight falling off like with ordinary dumbells.
This is the perfect item for circuit/strength training, and the DVD included gives good tips on proper lifting techniques/various useful exercises.
